The Connecticut Department of Banking approved the opening of a Farmington Bank branch in Wethersfield and the filing of a branch application by Naugatuck Savings Bank in Waterbury. Bankers’ Bank Northeast filed to relocate its main office in Glastonbury, while Hartford Courant Employees Credit Union, Inc. received approval to change its name to CT1 Media Credit Union, Inc. The department approved a check-cashing license for Une Travel LLC in Norwalk and issued enforcement actions against Global Client Solutions, LLC, Point Stratford Development, LLC, and its principals for unlicensed activities and securities violations. Additionally, a consent order was entered against Morgan Asset Management, Inc. and Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc., requiring a $7,771 fine and imposing restrictions on proprietary fund sales following a multi-state investigation.
