Bankers’ Bank Northeast received approval to relocate its main office in Glastonbury, Connecticut, effective January 3, 2012. The Commissioner issued a Temporary Order to Cease and Desist against Debt Relief Servicing, LLC, requiring the repayment of fees to a Connecticut resident for unlicensed debt negotiation activities. Additionally, Consent Orders were entered into with John Vincent Greco, Official Payments Corporation, and Mad River LLC d/b/a Twin Stop, imposing civil penalties of $500, $60,000, and $1,000 respectively for violations including failure to cooperate with investigations, unlicensed money transmission, and unlicensed check cashing.
