The Connecticut Department of Banking approved check cashing service licenses for Gold Rush Pawn & Check Cashing LLC in Bridgeport and Brooklyn Check Cashing LLC in Naugatuck. Additionally, Mutual Security Credit Union, Inc. and The Greater Norwalk Area Credit Union, Inc. filed an application for the merger of the latter into the former pursuant to Section 36a-468a of the Connecticut General Statutes. Written comments regarding these applications must be submitted to Banking Commissioner Howard F. Pitkin within ten days of the bulletin date.
