The Connecticut Department of Banking approves a de novo limited branch application by Bessemer Trust Company, N.A., in Greenwich. The Commissioner issues notices of intent to cease and desist and impose civil penalties against Cardinal Management, LLC, and National Creditline, Inc. for unlicensed lending and interest rate violations. Additionally, the Department intends to revoke the mortgage broker license of Anilom Mortgage Corporation and refuse to renew the check cashing license of Envios Gomez, LLC for regulatory non-compliance. Finally, an order is issued against Fidelity Debt Solutions, LLC, requiring the repayment of fees and a $100,000 civil penalty for unlicensed debt negotiation activities.
