The Connecticut Department of Banking approved a Notice of Intent Not to Disapprove for Farmington Bank to establish a branch in Newington and noted the filing of a Loan Production Office by Savings Bank of Danbury in Stamford. The Commissioner permanently barred Paul Anthony Mozicato from transacting business in Connecticut as a broker-dealer or investment adviser agent following a Consent Order for fraud and misappropriation of $15,000. Temporary Cease and Desist orders and notices of intent to impose civil penalties were issued against multiple entities, including D & K Holdings, SKD Holdings, Arize Group, State Law Group, Creative Media Consulting, and Rose Marie Hollander, for engaging in unlicensed debt negotiation. Final orders required Frank Albanese and Jeffrey Clark to pay $10,000 civil penalties each and repay fees, while Weststar Mortgage and Americay Mortgage entered Consent Orders requiring $6,000 and $2,500 penalties respectively for licensing and reporting violations.
