The Connecticut Department of Banking approves Northwest Community Bank's relocation of a branch in Torrington and notes that Liberty Bank has filed an application for a branch in Bristol. The Department issued temporary cease and desist orders against Legal Loan Review Inc. and Christopher and Lauren Rojas for engaging in unlicensed debt negotiation in Connecticut. Additionally, consent orders were entered into with Home Credit Law Center, Contour Mortgage Corporation, and the Law Offices of Andrea Loveless, requiring refunds, a $5,000 civil penalty, and a $500 civil penalty with fee repayments, respectively.
