Darien Rowayton Bank requested approval to purchase assets and assume deposit liabilities of a Patriot National Bank branch. The Banking Commissioner entered a Consent Order with Obsidian Financial Group, LLC, fining the firm $7,500 and ordering it to cease and desist from regulatory violations regarding supervisory systems, net capital, and record maintenance. The Commissioner issued Notices of Intent to Issue Orders to Cease and Desist and impose civil penalties against Alfano Wealth Advisors, LLC, Gen2 Mortgage Services LLC, Lightning Mortgage Inc., 1st American Home Loans, LLC, and Fairfield County Mortgage Company for failing to file required information on the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. Additionally, a Consent Order was entered with CareOne Services, Inc., requiring a $300,000 civil penalty and an order to cease and desist from unlicensed debt negotiation activities.
