The merger of Quiet Corner Community Credit Union into Charter Oak Federal Credit Union was approved. Consent orders were entered against 1st New England Mortgage Corporation and Home Law Center, imposing civil penalties of $2,500 and $1,000 respectively for regulatory violations. Final orders imposing $100,000 civil penalties and cease and desist mandates were issued against First Choice Debt Resolution, The Gallo Law Center, Instant Loans USA, and National Credit Relief Bureau. Notices of intent to impose penalties and cease and desist orders were issued against Approved Funding Corp., Precision Funding Group, and Priority Mortgage Group for filing failures, while the default orders against John and Susan Calash were vacated to allow for a hearing.
