The Connecticut Department of Banking approved Chilton Trust Company, LLC to establish a limited fiduciary office in Stamford and accepted a name change application from Naugatuck Savings Bank to Ion Bank. The Department also received a community reinvestment plan and merger application from The Bank of New Canaan and The Wilton Bank, while noting Salisbury Bank and Trust Company filed for a branch in Great Barrington, MA. In enforcement actions, the Commissioner entered a consent order requiring Priority Mortgage Group, Inc. to pay a $2,500 civil penalty for filing violations, and issued cease and desist orders against Diversified Processing Center, World Law Debt entities, and Collective Solutions, LLC for unlicensed debt negotiation or examination non-cooperation.
