The Connecticut Department of Banking accepted the surrender of the check cashing license for Post Road Deli, LLC, and imposed civil penalties of $2,500 on Platinum Mortgage, LLC for failing to file required reports. The Commissioner issued cease and desist orders with $100,000 civil penalties each against Mortgage Counseling Center, Edward Albert Bauman, Jr., Charles Thomas Heppner, Commercial Loan Solutions, LLC, G. Darrell Rigley, The Rigley Group, Inc., and TriMark Financial Solutions, Inc. for engaging in unlicensed debt negotiation. Additionally, UBS Financial Services Inc. consented to a $114,457.79 payment comprising a $50,000 fine and reimbursement for past due agent registration fees related to supervisory lapses regarding unregistered client service associates.
