The Connecticut Department of Banking publishes applications for public comment, including Liberty Bank's opening of a branch in Southington and the merger of Brand-Rex Employees Credit Union into Northeast Family Federal Credit Union. The Commissioner entered into Consent Orders with Franklin Mortgage, LLC, Harbor Financial, LLC, and Infinity Home Mortgage Company, Inc., for violations of mortgage call report filing requirements, resulting in a $2,500 civil penalty, license surrender, and a licensure ineligibility period until April 1, 2014, respectively. Additionally, a Temporary Order to Cease and Desist and an Order to Make Restitution were issued against Network Solutions Center Inc. d/b/a Premiere Financial Center Inc. for unlicensed debt negotiation, requiring repayment of fees to Connecticut residents plus interest.
