The Connecticut Department of Banking entered a Consent Order against Fundraising Co-Op, Inc., Buyer Topia, Inc., and three individuals, requiring them to offer rescission and repay Connecticut purchaser-investors by January 31, 2014, and imposing a $7,500 joint and several fine for violating the Connecticut Business Opportunity Investment Act and Uniform Securities Act. The Department also finalized a Consent Order with Todd Haggerty, mandating that he cease unlicensed debt negotiation activities and repay fees collected from Connecticut residents by Integrity Modification Co. Additionally, an Order to Make Restitution was issued against American Liberty Loan Consultants, directing the entity to repay fees plus interest to Connecticut residents who entered into debt negotiation agreements on or after October 1, 2009.
