The Connecticut Department of Banking approved Rockville Bank's establishment of a loan production office at 297 East Center Street in Manchester. The department also accepted an application from organizers Richard Linton and J. Denise Jackson to establish Voya Institutional Trust Company in Windsor. Enforcement actions include temporary cease and desist orders and restitution orders against Fortress Law Group, Friedman Law Associates, P.C., and Real Estate Solutions/MukLuk, LLC for unlicensed debt negotiation, requiring repayment of fees to Connecticut residents. Additionally, Windsor Law, P.C. entered a consent order to pay a $5,000 civil penalty for operating as an unlicensed consumer collection agency.
