The Connecticut Department of Banking approved the merger of United Bank into Rockville Bank, which shall change its name to United Bank, and authorized Salisbury Bank and Trust Company to acquire a branch of Union Savings Bank while consolidating its own Sharon branch. The Department also accepted an application from ING Investment Trust Co. to change its name to Voya Investment Trust Co. and issued notices of intent to issue cease and desist orders and impose civil penalties against four mortgage lenders for failing to file required quarterly information on the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. Additionally, the Department fined Opportunity Income Plus, LP $1,300 for late Rule 506 notice filings and entered a consent order against Euro Group of Companies, Inc. requiring it to cease and desist from selling unregistered securities and engaging unregistered agents.
