The Connecticut Department of Banking issued a Notice of Intent Not to Disapprove Liberty Bank's application to open a branch at 2518 Whitney Avenue in Middletown. The department also finalized Consent Orders with four entities for regulatory violations. Intercontinental Capital Group, KWIK MORTGAGE CORPORATION, and Woodbridge Mortgage each paid civil penalties of $3,000, $3,000, and $4,500 respectively for failing to timely file annual mortgage call reports. Thomas K. McKnight was ordered to repay fees to Connecticut residents and paid a $3,400 civil penalty for engaging in unlicensed debt negotiation.
