Liberty Bank filed to consolidate its Middletown branch location, effective October 1, 2014. Nutmeg Federal Credit Union applied to convert to a Connecticut credit union and expand its field of membership to New Haven County. TA Operating LLC filed for check cashing service licenses in Branford and Milldale. The Commissioner entered a consent order with Sound Mortgage, LLC, requiring a $4,500 civil penalty for failing to file annual information, and issued notices of intent to cease and desist against Hatfield Portfolio Group LLC for unlicensed consumer collection activities. Additionally, the Commissioner vacated previous enforcement orders against Bureau of Collection Recovery, LLC, following the surrender of its license.
