The Connecticut Department of Banking approved United Bank's establishment of a loan production office at 55 Greens Farms Road in Westport. The Commissioner entered into consent orders with CambioReal Incorporated, 1st American Home Loans, LLC, and Bridgepoint Mortgage LLC for regulatory violations. CambioReal paid a $5,000 civil penalty and $2,875 in back licensing fees for unlicensed money transmission. 1st American Home Loans and Bridgepoint Mortgage paid $3,000 and $2,500 civil penalties, respectively, for failing to file required annual mortgage call report information.
