The Department of Banking reports that Eastern Savings Bank filed for a loan production office in Norwich. The Commissioner entered into a Consent Order with Glastonbury Residential Mortgage, LLC, requiring the surrender of its mortgage correspondent lender license due to failure to file annual information. Notices of Intent to Issue Orders to Cease and Desist and impose civil penalties were issued against Classic Mortgage LLC and Commercial Enterprises LLC d/b/a Cellura Mortgagers for failing to timely file quarterly information. Additionally, Temporary Orders to Cease and Desist and Orders to Make Restitution were issued against Home Defense Team P.A. for unlicensed debt negotiation and against Great Plains Lending, LLC, John R. Shotton, and Clear Creek Lending for unlicensed lending and charging excessive interest.
