The Department of Banking announces the closing of a Liberty Bank branch at 12 Hope Street in Middletown, effective May 1, 2015. Regarding enforcement actions, the Department issued a Notice of Intent to Issue an Order to Cease and Desist and impose a civil penalty against Customized Mortgage Solutions, LLC for failing to timely file quarterly information with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. Additionally, the Department entered into Consent Orders with Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America, requiring a $500 civil penalty for failing to update its branch address, and Fidelity One Credit, Corp, ordering the repayment of excess interest charged on small loans between December 2008 and July 2013.
