The Connecticut Department of Banking announces branch activities for Simsbury Bank & Trust and Farmington Bank, including a new loan production office in Mansfield, MA, a notice of intent not to disapprove a branch in West Springfield, MA, and a branch closing in Canton, CT. The Commissioner issued a temporary cease and desist order and restitution order against Home Tech Group, LLC, requiring $2,125 plus interest to be repaid to a Connecticut resident and other affected residents for unlicensed debt negotiation services. Additionally, licenses for NCC Business Services of Ohio, Inc., Bureau of Accounts Control, Inc., Cherry Creek Strategic Advisors, LLC, and two locations of Leading Edge Recovery Solutions, L.L.C. were revoked or suspended for failing to maintain required surety bonds.
