Liberty Bank filed an acquisition statement to acquire Naugatuck Valley Financial Corporation and its subsidiary, Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan, with the latter merging into Liberty Bank. The Commissioner issued an Order to Cease and Desist and a $100,000 civil penalty against Angela Elizabeth Mueller for engaging in unlicensed debt negotiation. Notices of Automatic Suspension and Temporary Orders to Cease and Desist were issued against Dynamic Recovery Services, Inc. and Prestige Collection LLC for failing to maintain required surety bonds. A Consent Order required Rafferty Capital Markets, LLC to pay $16,050 for employing unregistered agents and maintaining inadequate supervisory systems.
