The Connecticut Department of Banking solicits public comments on a branch application filed by Thomaston Savings Bank for a location in Oakville, CT, within ten days of the bulletin date. The Commissioner issued a temporary cease and desist order and restitution order against Lamont G. Karriem for unlicensed debt negotiation activities, requiring repayment to identified Connecticut debtors. Additionally, the Commissioner made permanent a cease and desist order against Rosemarie Pokorski and imposed a $5,000 fine for selling unregistered securities and misusing investor funds. A consent order was also entered against Citigroup Global Markets Inc., imposing a $35,000 fine for supervisory lapses involving unregistered sales assistants between 2007 and 2014.
