The Connecticut Department of Banking approved First County Bank's full-service branch relocation in Westport and authorized Business Lenders, LLC to operate as a business and industrial development corporation. The Commissioner entered into consent orders with The Consumer Law Group, P.A., barring it from debt negotiation activities until restitution is made, and with lowermybills.com, imposing a $2,500 civil penalty for late filing of mortgage call reports. Additionally, an order against Dale Joseph Quesnel, Sr. was rendered permanent, fining him $600,000 for violations of the Connecticut Uniform Securities Act including offering unregistered securities and acting as an unregistered agent.
