Newtown Savings Bank closed a full-service branch at 1450 Southford Road in Newtown and opened a new full-service branch at 280 Oxford Road in Oxford, while filing to reorganize as NSB Mutual Holding Company. Regional Home Mortgage and Thoroughbred Mortgage each paid $2,500 civil penalties via consent orders for failing to file required annual mortgage call reports. American Capital Revitalization Group was ordered to cease and desist from unlicensed debt negotiation activities and fined $100,000.
