The Connecticut Department of Banking entered into Consent Orders with Home Point Financial Corporation and Shamrock Financial Corporation for violations of Section 36a-490(b) of the Connecticut General Statutes. Both entities failed to file a change of address for their branch offices with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry at least 30 calendar days prior to the change. Home Point Financial Corporation also failed to provide a required bond rider or endorsement to its surety bond. As part of the orders, each company paid a $500 civil penalty.
