The Connecticut Department of Banking entered into a Consent Order with Hylan Debt Fund LLC, requiring a $15,000 civil penalty for operating as an unlicensed consumer collection agency. Additionally, Equity Prime Mortgage LLC was ordered to pay a $500 civil penalty for failing to timely file a name change and update its surety bond documentation with the Commissioner.
