The Banking Commissioner approved the merger of East Hartford Federal Credit Union into America's First Network Credit Union (AFNCU) pursuant to Section 36a-468a of the Connecticut General Statutes. As a result of this merger, AFNCU's field of membership expands to include employees of the Town of East Hartford, East Hartford Youth Services, East Hartford Housing Authority, East Hartford Visiting Nurses Association, East Hartford Community Emergency Response Team, and specific branches of the U.S. Department of Defense. Written comments regarding this action must be submitted to the Banking Commissioner within ten days of the bulletin's date.
