Plimoth Trust Company LLC filed an application to establish a trust office in Stonington, Connecticut. The Commissioner entered into a Consent Order with Total Mortgage Services, LLC, requiring a $350,000 civil penalty and the implementation of a comprehensive compliance plan, including the hiring of a chief compliance officer and mandatory ethics education. Total Mortgage must also submit 25% of its Connecticut loans for external audit and provide quarterly reports on its compliance implementation.
