The Connecticut Department of Banking approves Union Savings Bank's reorganization into a mutual holding company and the merger of its mutual and stock entities. The Commissioner issued an Order to Cease and Desist and imposed a $100,000 civil penalty on Homestead Financial Services, LLC and Dana Fabian for engaging in unlicensed debt negotiation. Additionally, Romano Brothers and Company agreed to pay $5,040 to resolve allegations of prior unregistered broker-dealer activity and completed its registration in Connecticut.
