The Connecticut Department of Banking solicits written comments regarding Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc.'s proposed acquisition of SI Financial Group, Inc., and the subsequent merger of Savings Institute Bank and Trust Company into Berkshire Bank. Additionally, the Department seeks comments on American Eagle Financial Credit Union, Inc.'s request to amend its bylaws to expand its field of membership to include Hampden County, Massachusetts. Written comments must be submitted to Banking Commissioner Jorge L. Perez within ten business days of the bulletin's date.
