The Commissioner approved Collinsville Savings Society's name change to Collinsville Bank and received an application from America’s First Network Credit Union to merge with Connecticut Federal Credit Union. The Department issued an Order of Summary Suspension against mortgage loan originator John Vecchitto Jr. for fabricating loan documents and fraud, while Greenway Mortgage Funding Corp. paid a $500 civil penalty for failing to update its licensing registry. Additionally, an Amended and Restated Notice of Intent to Revoke the mortgage lender license of 1st Alliance Lending, LLC was issued, alleging violations involving adverse action notices, Loan Estimates, and unlicensed origination activities.
