The Connecticut Department of Banking approved Evolve Bank & Trust to establish a loan production office in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. The department renewed annual licenses for Business Lenders, LLC, WorldBusiness Capital, Inc., Access Financial Group, Inc., Forethought Life Insurance Company, and Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Connecticut for the period July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021. Additionally, the Commissioner fined James Thomas Booth and Insurance Trends, Inc. $100,000 each and revoked Booth’s broker-dealer and investment adviser agent registrations due to fraud and misappropriation of approximately $5 million in investor funds.
