The Connecticut Banking Commissioner revoked the consumer collection agency license of Tru-Contact Incorporated and imposed a $200,000 civil penalty, while ordering President Nicole DuBach to cease and desist and pay a $100,000 penalty for statutory violations. The Commissioner also issued a Temporary Order to Cease and Desist against Capital Accounts, LLC, alleging it operated as an unlicensed consumer collection agency in Connecticut. Written comments regarding these enforcement actions must be submitted to the Banking Commissioner within ten business days of the bulletin's date.
