The Commissioner approved the merger of Connecticut Transit Federal Credit Union into America’s First Network Credit Union, expanding the latter's field of membership. Centreville Bank filed notice to close its limited branch in Brooklyn, Connecticut, effective November 30, 2020. The Banking Commissioner entered a Consent Order with Wilmington Capital Securities, LLC, requiring the firm to cease and desist from violations and remit $11,275 in fines and fees. The Department issued a memorandum clarifying licensure requirements for indirect consumer collection activities, with a no-action position on enforcement until November 1, 2020.
