The Department of Banking approved Savings Bank of Danbury to establish a limited branch at 289 Main Street, Danbury, with a proposed opening in the fourth quarter of 2023. An application was filed to organize Currency Reserve Bank as an uninsured bank in Greenwich, Connecticut, and Finex Credit Union and First Connecticut Credit Union applied to merge, with a target completion date of June 30, 2023. The Commissioner entered a Consent Order fining Summit Investment Management, LLC $10,000 for recordkeeping violations, and imposed fines of $100,000 each on Visual Group, LLC and KF Pecksland, LLC, plus $100,000 on Samuel Klein for securities law violations.
