The Commissioner approved Berkshire Bank's application to establish a loan production office at 140 Woodland Street in Hartford, with an anticipated opening around September 15, 2023. Additionally, a Consent Order vacated a prior Final Order against Law Offices of David M. Katz, P.C., requiring the payment of a $20,000 civil penalty to resolve allegations of acting as an unlicensed consumer collection agency.
