The Connecticut Department of Banking issued a Temporary Order to Cease and Desist against Healthcare Finance Direct, LLC for conducting unlicensed small loan activity and failing to provide investigation information. A Notice of Intent to Issue Orders to Cease and Desist was issued against Lovely’s Boutique & Beauty LLC and Nasshon Thompson for violating trust and remittance requirements regarding money transmission proceeds. Additionally, EnFin Corp. entered into a Consent Order, paying a $10,000 civil penalty and $400 in back licensing fees for operating as an unlicensed sales finance company.
