The Connecticut Department of Banking entered into Consent Orders with Bay-Valley Mortgage Group and Ho Jin Lim, revoking Bay-Valley's mortgage lender license and barring both entities from acting as mortgage lenders or loan originators in Connecticut for five years due to violations of character and fitness standards. Additionally, LeadPoint, Inc. d/b/a Secure Rights paid a $50,000 civil penalty for operating as an unlicensed lead generator from February 2020 to April 2025. Written comments regarding these applications must be submitted to Banking Commissioner Jorge L. Perez within ten business days of the bulletin's date.
