Board Resolution No. 156 of 2022 dated November 16, 2022 amending Board Resolution No. 32 of 2021 regarding the issuance of the Statutes of the Investor Protection Fund against Non-Commercial Risks

The Board of Directors of the Capital Market Authority, Having reviewed the Capital Market Law issued by Law No. 95 of 1992; and the Law No. 10 of 2009 regulating supervision over non-banking financial markets and instruments; and the Prime Minister's Resolution No. 2339 of 2019 reorganizing the Non-Commercial Risks Insurance Fund for participants in activities of companies whose securities or financial instruments are listed on the Egyptian stock exchanges or operating in the field of securities and financial instruments; and the Capital Market Authority Board Resolution No. 32 of 2021 regarding the issuance of the Statutes of the Investor Protection Fund against Non-Commercial Risks; and the approval of the Board of Directors of the Investor Protection Fund against Non-Commercial Risks dated April 28, 2022; and the memorandum prepared by the competent department of the Authority dated November 15, 2022; and the approval of the Authority's Board of Directors at its meeting held on November 16, 2022;

RESOLVED:

(Article One)
The text of the first paragraph of Article (3) of the Statutes of the Investor Protection Fund against Non-Commercial Risks, issued by Capital Market Authority Board Resolution No. 32 of 2021, is amended to read as follows:
"The Fund's headquarters and main center shall be located in Plot No. (72), Sector One – City Center, off 90th Street, Fifth Settlement – New Cairo."

This Resolution shall be published in the Egyptian Gazette, and on the websites of the Authority, the Egyptian Exchange, and the Fund.
