Capital Markets Fees Regulation, 2012

The Capital Markets Authority of Rwanda issued Regulation No. 08 to establish a standardized fee schedule for licensing and supervising capital market participants. The regulation mandates specific application and annual license fees for entities such as securities brokers, investment advisors, custodians, and collective investment schemes, while also prescribing percentage-based charges for corporate bonds, prospectus evaluations, and fund liquidations. It further grants the Authority discretionary power to waive prescribed fees and explicitly repeals all prior regulatory provisions that conflict with these updated financial requirements.
