Circular to the Banks operating in the kingdom No. ( 8 /2026)

Due to the National Team’s participation in the FIFA World Cup 2026, I would like to inform you of the following:

1. The official working hours for banks operating throughout the days of Wednesday June 17, 2026, Tuesday June 23, 2026, and Sunday June 28, 2026, will be from 10:00 AM until 3:30 PM.
2. Customer service hours will begin at 10:30 AM and continue until 3:00 PM.
3. The daily working hours for the Jordan Real-Time Gross Settlement System (RTGS-JO) will be as follows:
   a. The exchange period between members begins at 10:30 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. b. Receiving net settlement files from retail payment systems for settlement on the system begins at 10:45 AM and ends at 3:50 PM.
   c. The liquidity period begins at 4:00 PM and continues until 4:30 PM. During this period, transfer orders necessary to fulfill pending orders in the waiting lists or existing intraday repurchase agreements are processed.
   d. The business day in the system ends at 4:30 PM.
4. The time for receiving deposits at the Dinar Deposit Window is from 3:15 PM until 4:15 PM.

5. The Tellers windows at the Central Bank will operate for cash withdrawals and deposits with operating banks from 10:30 AM until 2:00 PM, Please adhere to the specified times for utmost importance.
