CIEX No. 22/2023: Foreign Exchange Operations with Resources from the Decrease in Participation in CPVIS II, CPVIS III, FIUSEER, or CPRO Funds
Financial Intermediation Entities (EIFs) must submit their request to the BCB's Financial Entities Management and International Operations Management one business day before processing the sale of US dollars derived from the reduction of their participation in CPVIS II, CPVIS III, FIUSEER, or CPRO funds. This requirement applies to transactions conducted in Foreign Currency (ME) under the Legal Reserve Regulation modifications approved by Board Resolutions 62/2023 and 68/2023. The document explicitly repeals Circular Externa CIEX No. 17/2023 dated April 17, 2023, and provides a standardized template for EIFs to formalize these requests.
