Circular 01-2018 Implementation of the Electronic Information Submission System (SERI) for the Panama Stock Exchange and the Latin American Securities Central, S.A.

The Superintendence of the Securities Market (SMV) mandates that the Panama Stock Exchange and the Latin American Securities Central, S.A. submit mandatory regulatory forms via the Electronic Information Submission System (SERI) starting January 15, 2018. This requirement covers daily and quarterly transaction reports, as well as interim and audited annual financial statements, which must be filed as PDFs through the SERI platform while maintaining physical delivery for audited statements. The SMV emphasizes that all submitted information constitutes a sworn declaration subject to legal penalties for inaccuracies, with user access restricted to principal executives or compliance officers.
