Circular 12/2009 — Modifies the Rules of the Electronic Attention Module
The Bank of Mexico modifies the Transitory Articles Second and Third of the Rules governing the Electronic Attention Module (MAE) to mandate exclusive electronic interaction. Starting June 5, 2009, multiple banking institutions and brokerage houses must submit all requests to the Bank exclusively through the MAE. From September 1, 2009, the Bank will only communicate responses to these requests via the MAE, requiring entities to comply with the designated representative and operator provisions to access such responses.
