Circular 2/2012 — Modifies Circular 5/2011
This circular modifies the procedure for acting as market makers for government securities by updating definitions, calculating the Market Maker Index (IFM), and establishing incentives or penalties. It updates the definitions of operations in the MexDer, primary market, with clients, and between intermediaries, and revises the calculation of the Activity Index (IA) and Diversification Index (ID). The document also details the calculation of incentives for operations in the MexDer and reserves the right for the Ministry of Finance to determine other incentives or penalties, with the modifications entering into force on February 16, 2012.
