Circular 2/2015 of the Bank of Spain on rules for submitting payment statistics to the Bank of Spain under ECB Regulation 1409/2013
The Bank of Spain issued Circular 2/2015 to establish the rules for payment service providers and payment system operators to submit payment statistics to the central bank in compliance with ECB Regulation 1409/2013. The circular defined the obligation to report, specific exemptions, the content and frequency of submissions, and the procedures for presenting this information. This regulation was subsequently repealed by Circular 2/2022, which updated the reporting requirements for payment statistics.
