Circular 2/2018 — Modifications to Circular 16/2011
The Bank of Mexico amends the 'Rules for the Holding of Syndicated Auctions of Government Securities' by modifying the definition of 'Distributor' and 'Market Makers of UDIBONOS', updating the fourth paragraph of section 4 regarding bid submission procedures and addresses, revising the second paragraph of section 9 concerning document delivery deadlines, and adding an Appendix with a bid model template. These changes apply to credit institutions and brokerage houses acting as market makers for government securities. The Circular enters into force on the next business day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
