The Bank of Mexico amends Circular 2019/95 to allow the settlement of fixed-rate national currency BONOS issued in Mexico to occur up to eight business days after the transaction date without classifying the operation as a derivative. This modification applies specifically to Multiple Banking Institutions and facilitates the negotiation of these securities with foreign investors. The circular enters into force on October 6, 2010.
