Circular 7/2009 — Modifies Circular 2019/95
The Bank of Mexico modifies the Second Transitory Provision of Circular 19/2007, effective April 20, 2009. The amendment stipulates that checks issued on or after April 30, 2010, which do not meet the specifications in standard M.11.11.15.1, may only be accepted by the drawee institution for cash payment or credit to an account held with that institution.
