Greetings,

Based on the provisions of Article (11) of Personal Data Protection Law No. (24) of 2023, and the provisions of paragraph (d) of Article (3) of the Standards for Accreditation of Personal Data Protection Officers issued by the Personal Data Protection Council, I emphasize to all companies the necessity to comply with and adhere to the conditions and procedures stipulated in the aforementioned standards for the purpose of submitting an application for Officer accreditation to the Central Bank of Jordan using the attached form, in accordance with the proper procedures, accompanied by all relevant documents, within a maximum period of two weeks from its date. Furthermore, complete the procedures stipulated in the aforementioned standards after the issuance of the Central Bank of Jordan's decision regarding the Officer accreditation request.

Conditions and Qualifications Required in the Personal Data Protection Officer

1. Must be of Jordanian nationality.
2. Must be of good conduct and character, and must not have been previously convicted of a criminal offense or a crime involving dishonesty or breach of trust, unless their reputation has been restored.
3. Must possess specialized knowledge in data protection.
4. Must not have been previously dismissed from their job due to breach of duties related to personal data protection under a final court judgment or an unappealed disciplinary decision.
